Andrew Wiggins scores 29 in Rising Stars Challenge

Former Kansas guard Andrew Wiggins, of Canada, scored 29 points and had five rebounds in the World Team’s 159-154 loss to the USA, Friday at the NBA Rising Stars Challenge.

The fans at the exhibition in Toronto chanted, “MVP, MVP!” late in the game, which is part of the NBA’s All-Star Weekend.

Asked to name three famous Canadians not named Drake, LeBron James told reporters (as related by Zagsblog.com), “Tristan Thompson, Cory Joseph and Andrew Wiggins.”
