John’s Island, S.C. ? Kansas University junior golfer Thanuttra Boonraksasat tied for fourth place and the KU women finished eighth on Tuesday at the Briar’s Creek Invitational.
Boonraksasat totalled a 6-over 222 and was joined in the top 25 by teammates Meghan Potee (tied-13th, 288) and Yupaporn Kawinpakorn (tied-25th, 232).
The Jayhawks have just one event left before the Big 12 Championship, April 19-21 in Rhodes, Iowa. The KU women will compete next in the Indiana Invitational, beginning April 13 in Bloomington, Ind.
