4 year deals for both players! That's fantastic for both of them and makes Dezmon's decision to leave look like he made the right choice, there's no telling what the new offense would have done to Dez's draft value, though ultimately it's not his draft value that got him the deal, he must be delivering on the practice field. It's also gonna be great for the coaches to be able to tell recruits about guys that got into the league and signed 4 year contracts, etc.

His draft value may have slipped past the sixth round?

The Chargers are very excited about Stuckey. Everything I've heard coming out of San Diego points to him having a very good shot at getting a starting job.

I once loved Stuckey, but if he's playing against the Chiefs I hope he eats grass as McCluster takes it to the house! And the home of the....CHIEFS!!!!!

haha.....McCluster is a BA but Stuckey is the man. Don't bet on Stuckey eating too much grass!

At least Stuckey isn't playing for the Raiders. On the Chargers, I can still cheer for the guy. But if he was wearing silver and black...

Oh boy, this means trouble. Briscoe doesn't have the scruples to handle that much money. He'll be arrested before the year is over.

A four-year, $1.89 million deal really isn't that much money.Everything is slotted in the NFL rookie contract, so what he is getting paid is what anyone drafted in that position would have been paid. He didn't get this by "what he is doing on the practice field" at all.

Good luck guys. Keep your head on straight and keep your cheddar in order. Stay away from the parasites, haters and hypocrites. Focus on your Maker, family and the game. Thanks for everything you've done for the Jayhawk Nation. Nuff Respect!

From ESPN's rumor central:

"Dezmon Briscoe is also in the mix, although from the reports we've been hearing he appears to be a bit behind."

Don't get too excited about the idea of Briscoe becoming a star, folks.
