Self: Jayhawks left Baylor with ‘good road win’

Waco, Texas — Kansas basketball coach Bill Self certainly wasn’t pleased that his Jayhawks saw their lead shrink significantly late in the second half Saturday at Baylor.

But Self didn’t want to discredit the positives from the first 36 minutes of a 73-68 victory, either.

“The story I’m leaving with is we got a good road win today, not that we played like crap the last four minutes,” Self said afterward.
