Khalil Herbert tops ratings in loss at Ohio

**1 – Khalil Herbert:** Busted up the middle to open space and motored 56 yards for a touchdown and had more than 100 yards in the first half. Finished with 137 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries.

**2 – Mike Lee:** Big third-quarter interception in end zone with fancy footwork that enabled him to stay inbounds was game’s first turnover. Lee also was credited with a pass breakup and in on nine tackles, four of the solo variety, one for a loss.

**3 – Dorance Armstrong:** Three solo tackles, six assists and two tackles for seven yards in losses. Active in the run game. Still seeking his first sack of the season.

**4 – Daniel Wise:** In on six tackles, one behind the line of scrimmage.

**5 – Evan Fairs:** Big, fast, graceful, good pair of hands. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound sophomore from Fulshear, Texas is progressing nicely. Caught three passes for 77 yards. Exciting talent.

**6 – Chase Harrell:** Made terrific touchdown catch and had five receptions for 88 yards.

**7 – Jeremiah Booker:** Caught four passes for 59 yards and a touchdown.

**8 – Hakeem Adeniji:** When you tend not to notice the left tackle, that’s generally a good sign in much the same way as not noticing the third-base coach means he had a good night.

**9 – Zach Hannon:** Graduate transfer limited to special-teams duty during his Nebraska career took younger Antione Frazier’s spot at right tackle early in the game and upgraded the run game and pass protection.

**10 – Steven Sims:** Six catches for 60 yards for the junior coming off an ankle injury.
