Northern Iowa scored eight runs in the third inning in an 8-4 victory Friday to end the Kansas softball team’s six-game winning streak at Arrocha Ballpark.
The Jayhawks (17-4) committed a pair of errors in the decisive third inning while junior pitcher Andie Formby allowed six unearned runs. KU will face Nebraska at 2 p.m. today.
