KU volleyball improves to 9-0

? Kansas University’s volleyball team remained undefeated with a 25-23, 25-21, 25-16 victory over Marquette on Saturday in the Pistol Pete Showdown.

The Jayhawks improved to 9-0. KU’s best start was a 10-match winning streak to begin the 2001 season.

Sophomore outside hitter Madison Rigdon was named tournament MVP. She had 3.7 kills per set and 2.7 digs per set in three matches. Saturday, Rigdon had 12 kills with a .321 attack percentage.
