Fayetteville, Ark. ? Kansas University seniors Nick Giancana and Colleen O’Brien claimed victories in the high jump Friday in the John McDonnell Invitational.
Giancana won the men’s event with a jump of 6-10 3/4, and O’Brien won the women’s competition with a leap of 5-10 3/4.
Grace Pickell took second in the women’s high jump at 5-8 3/4, and Lindsay Vollmer was second in the long jump at 20-3 3/4.
