KU’s Ellis, Oubre invited to LeBron James camp

Kansas University junior Perry Ellis and freshman Kelly Oubre, Jr., are two of 30 college basketball players invited to the LeBron James camp, which runs July 9-12 in Las Vegas.

Other Big 12 players to be attending: Marcus Foster, Kansas State; Georges Niang, Iowa State and Juwan Staten, West Virginia. Wichita State’s Ron Baker also has been invited as well as 80 of the top high school players in the country.

The list of college players was selected from the three Nike Skills camps (Point Guard, Kevin Durant and Big Man Academies), which were held in late June. Ellis attended the Amare Stoudemire big man camp and Oubre the Kevin Durant camp for wings.
