Norman, Okla. ? Kansas University freshman Yupaporn Kawinpakorn shot a 1-under 71 and is tied for 10th after Monday’s first round of the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic at the Jimmie Austin Golf Club.
As a team, KU shot a 9-over 297 and is tied for seventh with Coastal Carolina in the 18-team field.
Host Oklahoma leads with a 284.
