Former Kansas University standout cornerback Aqib Talib was named a “person of interest” in a March 21 shooting, according to a report by the Dallas Observer.

Talib, who has played three years for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was named a person of interest by police in Garland, Texas, following an altercation between his sister, his sister’s boyfriend and his mother.

Talib could be arrested and charged, pending an investigation.

Talib recorded six interceptions last year, including one returned for a touchdown, in 11 games. He has 15 interceptions in his three-year pro career.
