KU drops to No. 2 in coaches poll, No. 3 in AP

The Kansas men’s basketball team dropped to No. 2 in the ESPN/USA Today coaches poll and No. 3 in the Associated Press poll released Monday.

KU, which fell to Kansas State on Monday before defeating Colorado on Saturday, dropped behind Duke in the coaches poll. Ohio State, San Diego State and Texas rounded out the top five.

In the AP ranking, KU was third behind Duke and Ohio State.

In both polls, the Jayhawks received at least one first-place vote.

KU will play host to Oklahoma State at 8 p.m. Monday.
