? Kansas University dropped a Big 12 Conference tennis match Sunday with Colorado, 5-2, at the Wood Valley Racquet Club.

The Jayhawks (7-9 overall, 3-6 Big 12) fell in two of the three doubles matches, losing the doubles point.

In singles play, Kansas managed just two victories — from Paige Brown at No. 2 singles and Christine Skoda at the No. 4 spot.

“I knew this was going to be a tough match,” KU coach Kilmeny Waterman said. “We have to work on our doubles so that we can take the pressure off of our singles matches. We need to be ready for K-State next week because they are playing very well right now.”

Kansas will play host to in-state-rival Kansas State at noon Saturday at Robinson Courts.
