Kansas guard Frank Mason III (0) and New Mexico State guard Daniel Mullings (23) pursue a loose ball in the Jayhawks' second-round NCAA tournament game against New Mexico State Friday, March 20, 2015 at the CenturyLink Center, Omaha, Neb.

**1 – Frank Mason:** Made terrific decisions, finished well at the hoop, hit 6 of 7 field goals, both three-pointers, and 3 of 4 free throws on his way to a game-high 17 points. Also had nine rebounds, sharing game-high honors with Landen Lucas. Mason has come a long way in a short amount of time in quickly figuring out zone defenses and attacking the openings.

**2 – Landen Lucas:** Hung tough against bigger bodies on way to seven points and nine rebounds. Also showed range, hitting an elbow jumper. Steadily has improved since Cliff Alexander became inelgibile during an NCAA probe.

**3 – Brannen Greene:** Hit a mid-range jumper on the baseline, which put a bounce in his step and then officially buried his shooting slump by draining consecutive three-pointers.Contriuted eight points, two assists and a steal in 19 minutes. The return of his shot was as big a positive development as any in a day filled with many for KU.

**4 – Jamari Tryalor:** Hustled his way to eight points, five rebounds and two assists and did some nice things when he was in the middle of the zone.

**5 – Devonte Graham:** Used an assortment of head fakes to set up teammates and made both of his three-point attempts. Totaled eight points, four assists and two rebounds. Turned it over three times.

**6 – Kelly Oubre:** Made 2 of 3 three-pointers, but his best move came when he faked a three-pointer and took it in for a flush. Finished with eight points, three rebounds and a steal. Also had two turnovers.

**7 – Wayne Selden:** Looked indecisive at times, most notably when he switched in mid-air from a throw-back dunk to a scoop shot and missed.

**8 – Perry Ellis:** Didn’t have his normal explosive jumping ability, which showed on a missed dunk, a shot blocked underneath and perhaps even a jumper that hit the front of the rim. Still, he managed nine points in 23 minutes.

**9 – Hunter Mickelson:** Didn’t get in until the final two minutes. As always, he hustled. Blocked a shot and drained both free throws.

**10 – Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk:** Played one minute and had an assist.
