Kansas University’s Josh Kirk today will begin defense of his Kansas Relays decathlon crown at Memorial Stadium.
Kirk, a senior from Olathe, last year won the event by scoring 7,152 points. The heptathlon and decathlon will run from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. today at Memorial Stadium. Both events will conclude Thursday.
The Relays will run from today until Saturday with the majority of the events Friday and Saturday.
