Big 12 honors several KU soccer players

The Big 12 Conference named two Kansas University soccer players to its all-conference teams Tuesday and tapped seven Jayhawks academic All-Big 12.

Senior midfielder Nicole Cauzillo was a dual honoree, nabbing second-team all-conference and first-team academic honors. Freshman Katie Williams was named to the all-newcomer team.

Joining Cauzillo on the academic academic first team were seniors Emily Strinden and Colleen Quinn, juniors Missy Geha and Kristin Graves and sophomore Shannon McCabe. First-team honorees maintained a GPA of at least 3.2. Junior Sara Rogers made the all-academic second team, requiring at least a 3.0 GPA.
