_After each KU basketball game this season, this is where you can find out the hardwood equivalent of The Nielsen Ratings from Journal-World sports editor Tom Keegan. He’ll rate the Jayhawk **scholarship players’ individual performances**, telling you who was worth tuning in to watch. If you agree or maybe even differ, make sure to comment and tell Tom how you really feel. (**Scoring**: Each week, the top player in the ratings will be awarded 10 points. Second best gets nine points. Third best gets eight points, and so on and so on. The season standings are at the bottom)_**1. Russell Robinson:** Terrific defensive effort. He took Villanova’s top player, Scottie Reynolds, out of the game and the Wildcats couldn’t get anything going because of it. Robinson also scored 13 of his 15 points in the first half.**2. Sasha Kaun:** Villanova was cleaning up on the offensive boards and scoring inside too easily at the start of the game. That all changed as soon as Kaun came off the bench and played the role of enforcer and did a stong job on the boards. Kaun had nine points, seven boards and three blocked shots.**3. Brandon Rush:** Scored 16 points and made a remarkably athletic play that demonstrated what great hands, hops, and reflexes he has. Robinson’s lob was off the mark and hit the backboard. Rush reacted so quickly to the ball he was able to grab it off the glass and flush it.**4. Mario Chalmers:** Had 14 points, four assists and three steals.**5. Darrell Arthur:** Made a spectacular spin move on the baseline that resulted in a dunk.**6. Darnell Jackson:** Not a great rebounding or defensive night for him early.**7. Sherron Collins:** Battling congestion, Collins said he had trouble breathing well. Still managed four assists and two steals in 21 minutes.**8. Jeremy Case:** Hit a three-pointer at the end of the first half and looked smooth in nine minutes of playing time.**9. Cole Aldrich:** Picked up an assist and a rebound in three minutes.**10. Rodrick Stewart:** Played one minute.**11. Tyrel Reed:** Dribbled the clock out.**The Keegan Ratings: Season Standings (based on average points)** **1.** Mario Chalmers **7.61** (274 points, 36 games) **2.** Darnell Jackson **7.24** (268 points, 37 games) **3.** Brandon Rush **6.97** (244 points, 35 games) **4.** Darrell Arthur **6.62** (245 point, 37 games) **5.** Russell Robinson **6.51** (241 points, 37 games) **6.** Sherron Collins **5.90** (183 points, 31 games) **7.** Sasha Kaun **5.62** (208 points, 37 games) **8.** Cole Aldrich **3.89** (144 points, 37 games) **9.** Rod Stewart **3.36** (111 points, 33 games) **10.** Tyrel Reed **2.81** (62 points, 22 games) **11.** Jeremy Case **2.61** (73 points, 28 games)
