The Keegan Ratings
Run, B-Mac, run
After each KU football game this season, this is where you can find out the gridiron equivalent of The Nielsen Ratings from Journal-World sports editor Tom Keegan. He'll rate the Top 10 Jayhawk individual performances, telling you who was worth tuning in to watch. If you agree or maybe even differ, make sure to comment and tell Tom how you really feel. (Scoring: Each week, the top player in the ratings will be awarded 10 points. Second best gets nine points. Third best gets eight points, and so on and so on. The season standings are at the bottom)
1. Brandon McAnderson: Rushed for 183 yards and two touchdowns and had runs of 40, 33, 22, 20, and 17 yards. Is averaging a remarkable 6.7 yards per carry.
2. Anthony Collins: Drives tacklers up the field to open up so much room for the runners.
3. Aqib Talib: Had three pass break-ups and six tackles.
4. Kendrick Harper: As is Talib, Harper is a really hard hitter for a cornerback.
5. Mike Rivera: Delivered punishing hit after punishing hit and finished with 10 tackles.
6. Darrell Stuckey: The secondary is packed with hard hitters and Stuckey’s one of them.
7. James McClinton: Had two tackles behind the line of scrimmage and as always, occupied blockers so the linebackers could make plays.
8. Todd Reesing: Managed the offense well and did not turn it over once. Has just four interceptions, eight games into the season.
9. Dezmon Briscoe: Made six catches, with a long of 19 yards.
10. John Larson: Had three tackles and a fumble recovery that he was able to get because he was in the backfield.

Where the Hell is James Holt come on Keags your slacking. Are you to preoccupied with having to write for Football & Basketball now?
P.S.
You could do what woodling did and just write an article about a known fact exp. Ku is 8-0 why because the scored more points than the other team and most people realize that this is a major part of going 8-0.

Well nice article Tom, but I look at numbers from a different perspective (unfortunately it is not as erudite as your numbers). Here are my numbers--Jayhawk coaches 8-0, Jayhawk D 8-0, Jayhawk O 8-0 and now for the two key numbers JAYHAWK FOOTBALL TEAM 8-0 AND NUMBER ONE IN THE BIG 12 NORTH. THANK YOU EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU SIMPLY OUTSTANDING FOOTBALL PLAYERS. YOU ARE NUMBER ONE!!!

B-Mac, AC, and the D rocked. Too bad B-Mac didn't get that last TD, and if we didn't abandon the run in the red zone a couple of times his numbers would have been astronomical.

Yeah, it's interesting that aTm came in with the reputation of being strong against the run and weak against the pass, yet it seemed to be the other way around. It seems as if KU could have run 90% of the time and not been stopped.

I'm with you AZ...if we would have ran it more in the red zone, we would have blown them out
