Kyron Johnson ‘wouldn’t be surprised’ if KU sticks with Emmett Jones as head coach

Kansas veteran linebacker Kyron Johnson came away from the Jayhawks’ first spring practice impressed with interim head coach Emmett Jones.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if they just stay with him as the head coach,” Johnson said, “because he’s just great like that.”

A super-senior, Johnson also discussed KU’s defense and his goals for the year ahead.
