Kansas guards Christian Braun and Marcus Garrett discussed another standout showing by Braun in his first career start, and the defense the Jayhawks played in a 65-50 road win at Oklahoma State.
Garrett called KU’s defense great.
“We know they have some great 3-point shooters over there, and that was the key coming in, to try and limit their 3’s,” Garrett said. “I know we’re known for giving up a lot of 3-point shots. So we were big on that, knowing how well they shoot 3’s. We were trying not to give them any good looks.”
OSU shot 2-for-18 on 3-pointers and made only 28.1% of its field goals versus KU.
