Bill Self: End of 1st half ‘a debacle’ for KU in loss to Baylor

Kansas basketball coach Bill Self said No. 4 Baylor “controlled the game” most of Saturday afternoon while defeating No. 3 Kansas at Allen Fieldhouse.

And Self thought one stretch in particular helped the Bears do so with relative ease.

“I think there were a lot of things disappointing,” Self said. “I’m not saying they wouldn’t have won the game anyway, because they controlled the game totally after about the first 10 minutes of the first half. But the last two minutes or whatever of the first half was a debacle for us.”
