Former Kansas football coach Mark Mangino returned to Lawrence this weekend so he could watch another one of his former players, Darrell Stuckey, join the Ring of Honor.
Mangino said Stuckey was one of the many Jayhawks who helped change the perception of KU football when he was the coach.
While speaking with reporters at halftime of KU’s homecoming win over Texas Tech, Mangino described the difficulties that come with turning around a program and the challenges of coaching at Kansas.
