After his 19 points and 6 assists helped No. 4 Kansas defeat East Tennessee State, 75-63, at Allen Fieldhouse, sophomore point guard Devon Dotson explained how his hot start set the Jayhawks up for success.
“My mindset was if we can get that first hit in, then that can kind of get them back on their heels a little bit, so I just wanted to come out aggressive,” Dotson said.
Dotson scored 13 points in the first half, when he shot 5-for-7.
