Dotson on the play-making that keyed KU’s Big 12 tourney win over Texas

Kansas freshman Devon Dotson spoke to reporters Thursday night following KU’s 65-57 win over Texas Thursday night in the Sprint Center.

The Jayhawks (24-18) led for over 30 minutes of their first postseason game of the year. Kansas scored 34 points in the paint compared to Texas’ 20.

Dotson led the team with 17 points on 6-of-11 shooting. Dedric Lawson (16 points), David McCormack (13) and Quentin Grimes (12) all scored in double figures as well to help KU advance to the Big 12 semifinals.

Kansas will face West Virginia at 8:30 p.m. Friday.
