Bill Self on KU’s 84-72 win over Oklahoma State

Kansas coach Bill Self spoke to reporters following an 84-72 win over Oklahoma State Saturday afternoon at Allen Fieldhouse.

After the game, Self said that Mitch Lightfoot was instrumental in the team’s victory. Lightfoot scored six points and collected nine rebounds in 20 minutes.

“His energy was great. He hasn’t had a lot of things go his way as of late but he keeps grinding. I don’t think he was the best player in the game, but he was certainly the most important player in the game.”

Kansas travels to TCU at 8 p.m. Monday.
