Self gives update on Azubuike at KU’s Christmas shopping spree

Kansas coach Bill Self spoke to reporters before the team’s annual Christmas shopping spree Wednesday night at Walmart.

The KU men’s basketball team bought gifts for 16 families.

It marked the 22nd consecutive year that the program has done this event, which started when North Carolina coach Roy Williams was at the helm.

No. 1 KU (10-0) travels to Arizona State at 8 p.m. Saturday.
