Ben McLemore happy to return for Roundball Classic, excited for next NBA season

Back in the Rock Chalk Roundball Classic for another year, former Kansas guard Ben McLemore highlighted the charity event with several dunks en route to a game-high 32 points.

Prior to the event, McLemore reached out to Brian Hanni, who organizes the game, about returning this season because it’s a chance to give back to kids.

“When I made it to the NBA, it’s giving back to the community and the kids because it starts with the youth and helping them guys,” McLemore said.

Heading into his fifth season in the NBA — he averaged 8.1 points per game this year with the Sacramento Kings — McLemore is eager to showcase his potential.

“Obviously you guys can see what I can do,” he said. “I hope everybody around the world and the league knows what I can do as well.”
