Kansas senior forward Perry Ellis says the Jayhawks are eager to get the 2015-16 season started, with this week’s exhibition opener.
A four-year veteran, Ellis isn’t too worried about KU’s freshmen playing nervous Wednesday night against Pittsburg State.
Although Kansas remains in wait-and-see mode on the availability of freshman big man Cheick Diallo, Ellis says the team’s other bigs have to step up “just in case.”
