**1 – Frank Mason:** Checked out of the game with 6:22 remaining after amassing 30 points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals and did not turn it over once during his 31 minutes on the floor. Missed a couple of shots at the rim early that he usually makes or would have shot even better than 11 of 14. Made 6 of 7 three-pointers and both free throws. Has made 19 of 28 three-pointers in past six games, a .679 percentage.
**2 – Josh Jackson:** Always in the middle of the action, Jackson scored 19 points, picked up half of his dozen rebounds on the offensive glass and had five assists. When Andrew Wiggins played at Kansas, I always thought that he and the team would be better if he spent more time near the rim, where nobody was quick enough to beat him to the ball, in other words if he played then the way Jackson now plays. Jackson never looks as if he’s auditioning. He plays to win the game, as Herman Edwards once famously said, although talking about football. Jackson uses his superior quickness and explosive jumping ability to make winning play after winning play and he does a little bit of everything. If KU’s big men had done a better job of finishing, Jackson might have posted a triple-double.
**3 – Devonte Graham:** Another remarkably efficient game for the junior from Raleigh, N.C. How did the ACC let him get away without putting up fight? Graham made 6 of 8 shots, all from three, and had four assists and one turnover.
**4 – Svi Mykhailiuk:** Went after his own misses aggressively and had 5 of 7 rebounds off the offensive glass. Scored 10 points on 4 of 12 shooting and made 2 of 7 from three. Hustled the entire 28 minutes he was on the floor.
**5 – Lagerald Vick:** Quiet 22-minute, five-point night, but did have a pair of impressive blocked shots, a steal and three assists.
**6 – Landen Lucas:** Picked up four points and five rebounds in 14 minutes.
**7 – Carlton Bragg:** Had trouble finishing after teammates went out of their way to set him up inside.
**8 – Dwight Coleby:** Hustled his way to five points and two rebounds in six minutes.
**9 – Udoka Azubuike:** Struggled to finish while getting fouled but did block two shots and pick up two offensive rebounds during a 12-minute, four-point, three-rebound night.
**10 – Mitch Lightfoot:** Scoreless with five rebounds in 14 minutes.
