Kansas guard Frank Mason III (0) tries to slide by a screen chasing Temple guard Will Cummings (2) Monday at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA.

**1 – Frank Mason III:** Hit a three-pointer in the final minute to eliminate the possibility of KU having a worse margin of defeat than against Kentucky. It was trending in that direction. Mason played all 40 minutes, led the team with 20 points, made 4 of 6 three-pointers, had three steals, three rebounds and would have had more than two assists if teammates had done a better job of finishing. All five of his turnovers came in the first half.

**2 – Kelly Oubre Jr.:** Such a quick jumper, Oubre is really good at rebounding his own misses. Three of his seven rebounds came off the offensive glass and he also used his long arms and quick feet and hands for two steals. His nine points were second to Mason and he had a team-best seven rebounds in 23 minutes. Makes things happen near the hoop.

**3 – Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk:** Didn’t play well, but he played aggressively. Made just 1 of 7 shots and 1 of 4 three-pointers, but seemed to realize more than some teammates that it’s better to err on the side of aggressiveness when trying to come back from a huge deficit with not a great deal of time left.

**4 – Jamari Traylor:** Two points, three rebounds and an assist in 12 minutes.

**5 – Brannen Greene:** Made 1 of 3 threes and and had one rebound in 14 minutes.

**6 – Wayne Selden Jr.:** Made 2 of 8 shots overall and 1 of 4 threes. Totaled six points and three assists and both of his rebounds came off the offensive glass. Turned it over twice and had trouble blowing by anybody on the dribble.

**7 – Cliff Alexander:** Kansas had drawn within six points early in the second half when Alexander hung a momentum-killing clothesline of a jumper that had no chance of dropping.

**8 – Perry Ellis:** Rough night for the junior from Wichita. Mason fed him the ball in positions to score, but Ellis couldn’t finish. He made 1 of 10 field goals and totaled five points and three rebounds.

**9 – Hunter Mickelson:** Had two points, a rebound and a blocked shot in 13 minutes. Was not a presence at either end.

**10 – Landen Lucas:** Played nine minutes and had a missed shot, a turnover and an offensive rebound to show for it.
