**1. Marcus Morris:** Looked extremely explosive at both ends and scored 17 of his team-high 27 points in the first half. His greatest moment of the half, an on-the-ball blocked shot, will be replayed in every video highlight of him from now on.
**2. Elijah Johnson:** Didn’t try to hit home runs and didn’t hang his head when he messed up, once turning it over after getting trapped and another time throwing an interception when he tried to feed the post from a terrible angle. He showed he’s a better shooter than the man he replaced, Tyshawn Taylor.
**3. Markieff Morris:** Contributed 15 points and seven rebounds in 21 minutes. Had trouble containing Marshall Moses, but so do a lot of defenders.
**4. Tyrel Reed:** Plays like a senior night in and night out. Had eight points, five assists, two steals and no turnovers.
**5. Thomas Robinson:** Just 10 days after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right knee, KU’s bionic man hustled his way to six points and six rebounds in 10 minutes. That’s a tribute to two marvels: Modern medicine and Robinson’s fitness.
**6. Mario Little:** Hit the boards hard again, finishing with 10 to go with seven points, two coming on a sweet lefty hook shot delivered as he swept across the lane.
**7. Josh Selby:** Rushed a bad shot early and still isn’t shooting a high percentage, but did some good things as well, driving hard to the hoop and making some nice entry passes.
**8. Brady Morningstar:** Didn’t score a field goal, but defended well and had three assists without a turnover.
**9. Travis Releford:** Had three points, a rebound and an assist and didn’t turn it over in 14 minutes.
**10. Jeff Withey:** Looked good scoring his only bucket in five minutes.
**11. Royce Woolridge:** Played two minutes and his only stat was a turnover.
