1. Tyshawn Taylor: Not KU’s leading scorer, but still had the team’s best stat line. Contributed 13 points on 6-for-8 shooting with seven assists, two steals, two rebounds and just one turnover. Taylor has 24 assists and just two turnovers in his last four games.
2. Cole Aldrich: Was team’s best player in first half and finished with 10 points, 10 rebounds and five blocked shots in 22 minutes.
3. Marcus Morris: Had 14 points and seven rebounds. Ran the floor hard in both directions and used superior quickness to score buckets on the interior.
4. Sherron Collins: Had 17 points and five assists and made half of his six three-point shots.
5. Xavier Henry: Got the team off to hot start in second half and finished with 12 points, eight rebounds and three assists.
6. Brady Morningstar: Shaky first half, but played outstanding in the second half. Finished with seven points, seven assists and two steals in 21 minutes.
7. Markieff Morris: He really knows how to get inside position, has great hands and hits the boards hard. Had six points and seven boards in 11 minutes.
8. Tyrel Reed: Three points, three assists and two steals in 11 minutes.
9. Thomas Robinson: Charged with five turnovers, though one came on a highly questionable call.
10. Elijah Johnson: Played a minute, was beaten defensively and returned to the bench.
