_After each KU football game this season, this is where you can find out the gridiron equivalent of The Nielsen Ratings from Journal-World sports editor Tom Keegan. He’ll rate the Top 10 Jayhawk individual performances, telling you who was worth tuning in to watch. If you agree or maybe even differ, make sure to comment and tell Tom how you really feel. (Scoring: Each week, the top player in the ratings will be awarded 10 points. Second-best gets nine points. Third-best gets eight points, and so on and so on. The season standings are at the bottom.)_**1. Jake Sharp:** His role seemingly fading, Sharp reawakened and helped to bring the team back to life. Sharp had 107 receiving yards, 67 on a touchdown sprint, and rushed for 79 yards. Hasn’t appeared on list all season, but takes top spot here. **2. Kerry Meier:** He’s more than a first-down machine. He’s a deep threat too. He caught seven passes for 125 yards and two touchdowns. If he didn’t already have the extra duties of preparing at backup quarterback, it’s worth wondering whether Meier would be used here and there at safety. **3. Todd Reesing:** Never mind the spectacular passing second half (10 of 12 passes for 260 yards), it was his scramble for a first down on third-and-7 from the 9 that was his most amazing work, setting up a touchdown. **4. Joe Mortensen:** Had eight tackles, two for losses totaling nine yards. He also had a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. **5. Mike Rivera:** Banged up all year, Rivera administered pain with seven tackles, one for a loss. **6. Dexton Fields:** Returning from a three-plus game absence, Fields had a 50-yard reception, the longest of his career, and threw some nice blocks. **7. James Holt:** Active, Holt had eight tackles and was more sure with them than he sometimes is. **8. Maxwell Onyegbule:** Sure it was thrown right to him, but sometimes that can surprise defensive players and lead to drops. Onyegbule caught it and returned it 21 yards. **9. Jake Laptad:** Had a pair of tackles for 10 yards in losses, produced a sack and batted down a pass. **10. Tim Biere:** Got up after being absolutely exploded at the end of a 10-yard reception and did some solid blocking.**The Keegan Ratings: Season Standings (total points)** T1.
