_After each KU basketball game this season, this is where you can find out the hardwood equivalent of The Nielsen Ratings from Journal-World sports editor Tom Keegan. He’ll rate the Jayhawk **scholarship players’ individual performances**, telling you who was worth tuning in to watch. If you agree or maybe even differ, make sure to comment and tell Tom how you really feel. (**Scoring**: Each week, the top player in the ratings will be awarded 10 points. Second best gets nine points. Third best gets eight points, and so on and so on. The season standings are at the bottom)_**1. Darnell Jackson**: Even when those around him are sleep-walking, which was the case for the first half, Jackson brings the energy and is in the middle of the action. He missed a double-double by one rebound and had three steals. **2. Sherron Collins**: Cocky, combative attitude is what this team needs, though he went a little overboard and drew a technical. His team-high 13 points in 22 minutes were needed on this night of sluggish offense.**3. Sasha Kaun**: How do those line drive hook shots get through the hoop without bouncing back out? Oh well, they don’t ask how, just how many. For Kaun, the answer was nine points in 23 minutes. Strong defense came in handy against Aleks Maric, who had 10 points and six turnovers. **4. Mario Chalmers**: Three blocked shots and three steals, but six turnovers made it a mixed bag of a night for Chalmers, who chipped in 12 points.**5. Russell Robinson**: Didn’t have his shooting touch working, but committed just one of KU’s 18 turnovers.**6. Darrell Arthur**: Six points, four turnovers, four personal fouls. Prediction: He’ll bolt to the NBA after this season, never having established himself as a consistent force in college basketball. **7. Brandon Rush**: Rough night for the junior, who had four turnovers and made just 3 of 10 field goal attempts. **8. Cole Aldrich**: Two fouls and one rebound in two minutes for the freshman who next year has a chance to earn all-conference honors. Just watch.**9. Rodrick Stewart**: Time has dwindled and basically only plays when an energy boost is needed. Played two minutes. **The Keegan Ratings: Season Standings (based on average points)** **1.** Darnell Jackson **7.71** (239 points, 31 games) **2.** Mario Chalmers **7.58** (235 points, 31 games) **3.** Brandon Rush **6.73** (202 points, 30 games) **4.** Darrell Arthur **6.61** (218 point, 33 games) **5.** Russell Robinson **6.41** (205 points, 32 games) **6.** Sherron Collins **5.88** (153 points, 26 games) **7.** Sasha Kaun **5.69** (182 points, 32 games) **8.** Cole Aldrich **4.19** (130 points, 31 games) **9.** Rod Stewart **3.48** (108 points, 31 games) **10.** Tyrel Reed **3.05** (58 points, 19 games) **11.** Jeremy Case **2.56** (64 points, 25 games)
