_After each KU basketball game this season, this is where you can find out the hardwood equivalent of The Nielsen Ratings from Journal-World sports editor Tom Keegan. He’ll rate the Jayhawk **scholarship players’ individual performances**, telling you who was worth tuning in to watch. If you agree or maybe even differ, make sure to comment and tell Tom how you really feel. (**Scoring**: Each week, the top player in the ratings will be awarded 10 points. Second best gets nine points. Third best gets eight points, and so on and so on. The season standings are at the bottom)_**1. Mario Chalmers**: Led the team with 19 points, but had three turnovers and wasn’t the disruptive defensive presence he normally is.**2. Brandon Rush**: Kept KU in the game in the first half with 12 points, but vanished in the final 20 minutes, attempting just three shots, all three-pointers, and making one, at the end of the game. Finished with 15 points and seven rebounds but didn’t put his thumbprint on the game in the second half.**3. Sherron Collins**: Scored a quiet 12 points.**4. Sasha Kaun**: Was the most effective defender against Michael Beasley, which was why he earned 20 minutes of playing time. That and Darrell Arthur’s foul trouble. **5. Darrell Arthur**: Limited to 17 minutes because of foul problems, Arthur blocked three shots and had 12 points and seven rebounds. Bill Walker thoroughly outplayed him.**6. Darnell Jackson**: Beasley represents a difficult matchup for anybody, and Jackson was no exception.**7. Rod Stewart**: In six minutes he had two offensive boards and turned one of them into a bucket.**8. Russell Robinson**: Made just 1 of 8 shots and had trouble defending freshman Jacob Pullen.**9. Cole Aldrich**: K-State’s quick inside players made this a difficult matchup for Aldrich, who was limited to four minutes.**10. Jeremy Case**: Played the final minute, got open in the corner for a three-pointer, but didn’t get the ball.**11. Tyrel Reed**: Played less than a minute.**The Keegan Ratings: Season Standings (based on average points)** **1.** Darnell Jackson **8.19** (172 points, 21 games) **2.** Mario Chalmers **7.65** (153 points, 20 games) **3.** Brandon Rush **7.21** (137 points, 19 games) **4.** Darrell Arthur **6.76** (142 point, 21 games) **5.** Russell Robinson **6.43** (135 points, 21 games) **6.** Sherron Collins **6.00** (90 points, 15 games) **7.** Sasha Kaun **5.57** (117 points, 21 games) **8.** Cole Aldrich **4.30** (86 points, 20 games) **9.** Rod Stewart **4.14** (87 points, 21 games) **10.** Tyrel Reed **3.25** (52 points, 16 games) **11.** Jeremy Case **2.32** (44 points, 19 games)
