_After each KU basketball game this season, this is where you can find out the hardwood equivalent of The Nielsen Ratings from Journal-World sports editor Tom Keegan. He’ll rate the Jayhawk **scholarship players’ individual performances**, telling you who was worth tuning in to watch. If you agree or maybe even differ, make sure to comment and tell Tom how you really feel. (**Scoring**: Each week, the top player in the ratings will be awarded 10 points. Second best gets nine points. Third best gets eight points, and so on and so on. The season standings are at the bottom)_**1. Brandon Rush**: In his most passionate performance of the season, Rush went for 16 points, nine rebounds and several fist-pumps. Averaging 17.5 points in Big 12 play. When Bill Self talks, Brandon Rush listens.**2. Darnell Jackson**: Ran down the opening tip and jammed it home to ignite a crowd that was the loudest of the season. With his jumper looking better all the time, Jackson contributed 17 points and eight rebounds. Had trouble slowing Longar Longar (21 points), but did an overall terrific job.**3. Mario Chalmers**: Check out this shooting efficiency: Attempted five field goals and scored 13 points to go with five assists and three steals. Is shooting .469 on three-pointers.**4. Darrell Arthur**: Still a little too eager to fade away, instead of powering up, Arthur overall has done a better job of understanding how difficult he is to stop from scoring inside.**5. Russell Robinson**: He was as big a reason as anybody that Oklahoma had such a difficult time creating good shots.**6. Sherron Collins**: Did an excellent job of penetrating and dishing and finished with nine points and three assists.**7. Cole Aldrich**: Ultra-aggressive night for the big man from Minnesota. He had six points, three boards and three blocked shots in 13 minutes.**8. Sasha Kaun**: Always plays well defensively, bruising the opposition.**9. Rod Stewart**: Early season playing time benefited him. Looked comfortable in his five minutes on the floor.**10. Jeremy Case**: Shots didn’t fall, but he played aggressively.**11. Tyrel Reed**: Played just two minutes.**The Keegan Ratings: Season Standings (based on average points)** **1.** Darnell Jackson **8.12** (138 points, 17 games) **2.** Mario Chalmers **7.38** (118 points, 16 games) **3.** Brandon Rush **6.73** (101 points, 15 games) **T-4.** Russell Robinson **6.53** (111 points, 17 games) **T-4.** Darrell Arthur **6.53** (111 point, 17 games) **6.** Sasha Kaun **5.76** (98 points, 17 games) **7.** Sherron Collins **5.64** (62 points, 11 games) **8.** Rod Stewart **4.18** (71 points, 17 games) **9.** Cole Aldrich **3.94** (67 points, 17 games) **10.** Tyrel Reed **3.69** (48 points, 13 games) **11.** Jeremy Case **2.47** (37 points, 15 games)
