_After each KU basketball game this season, this is where you can find out the hardwood equivalent of The Nielsen Ratings from Journal-World sports editor Tom Keegan. He’ll rate the Jayhawk **scholarship players’ individual performances**, telling you who was worth tuning in to watch. If you agree or maybe even differ, make sure to comment and tell Tom how you really feel. (**Scoring**: Each week, the top player in the ratings will be awarded 10 points. Second best gets nine points. Third best gets eight points, and so on and so on. The season standings are at the bottom)_**1. Brandon Rush:** Used his left hand to drive down the middle of the lane and put up a left-handed layup and had a spectacular up-and-under move for another bucket. Wasn’t hitting from the outside so he aggressively took it to the hoop and finished with a game-high 25 points.**2. Cole Aldrich:** Most of his eight points, seven boards and four blocked shots came in a spectacular first half. Got too fancy on a dunk attempt and missed, but what a performance from the freshman who has the potential to develop into one of the nation’s top big men.**3. Sherron Collins:** Steered the team so well down the stretch and hit such a big three to push the lead back to eight points that his seven turnovers can be overlooked.**4. Russell Robinson:** Outplayed Ty Lawson and had four assists, three steals and just one turnover.**5. Darnell Jackson:** Wanted the ball down the stretch, got it, and put it off the glass for big buckets in the waning moments.**6. Mario Chalmers:** Had 11 points, four boards, three assists and three steals.**7. Darrell Arthur:** Did a terrific job of grabbing rebounds in traffic and finished with nine boards (all defensive) and four blocked shots.**8. Sasha Kaun:** Did excellent defensive work on Tyler Hansbrough during his 10 minutes on the floor.**9. Jeremy Case:** Played a minute.**10. Tyrel Reed:** Checked in at the end.**The Keegan Ratings: Season Standings (based on average points)** **1.** Mario Chalmers **7.58** (288 points, 38 games) **2.** Darnell Jackson **7.20** (281 points, 39 games) **3.** Brandon Rush **7.03** (260 points, 37 games) **4.** Darrell Arthur **6.51** (254 point, 39 games) **5.** Russell Robinson **6.42** (251 points, 39 games) **6.** Sherron Collins **5.84** (195 points, 33 games) **7.** Sasha Kaun **5.44** (219 points, 39 games) **8.** Cole Aldrich **3.95** (154 points, 39 games) **9.** Rod Stewart **3.36** (111 points, 33 games) **10.** Tyrel Reed **2.74** (63 points, 23 games) **11.** Jeremy Case **2.57** (77 points, 30 games)
