_After each KU basketball game this season, this is where you can find out the basketball equivalent of The Nielsen Ratings from Journal-World sports editor Tom Keegan. He’ll rate the Jayhawks’ individual performances from top to bottom, telling you who was worth tuning in to watch and who has seen better days. If you agree or maybe even differ, make sure to comment and tell Tom how you really feel._**1. Brandon Rush**: He said his mother told him to “take it to the hole,” so he took it to the hole and scored 18 points (despite attempting just eight field goals). Had six rebounds and played terrific defense. Now, if his mother would just tell him to return to Kansas for his junior season. **2. Sasha Kaun**: Defended the post well with help, totaled 16 points and five rebounds, blocked three shots and had two steals. **3. Mario Chalmers**: He missed both three-point shots and did little else wrong. Seven points, six assists and six steals against the No. 9 team in the nation is quite a stat line.**4. Sherron Collins**: Made some beautiful dishes running the break and in the halfcourt. Still needs to trim turnovers (three in 22 minutes), but he makes the offense go, go, go. Had 10 points and five assists.**5. Russell Robinson**: Left Rush wide open alone on the left wing for what very well could have been three points to drive wildly toward the hoop, which left spectators wondering what on earth he was doing, but he played terrific defense, contributed four assists and three steals, did not turn the ball over once, and made all three shots, including his lone three-point attempt.**6. Darnell Jackson**: He doesn’t play in the NFL (yet, tight end anybody?), so he wasn’t flagged 15 yards for excessive celebration after a monster dunk. He sprints the floor well, hits the boards hard and has a soft touch (5-for-5 from the floor) to offset shortcomings defending the post.**7. Julian Wright**: Hit a couple of impressive baseline jumpers and blocked four shots to fire up himself and the boisterous crowd.**8. Darrell Arthur**: Took off one step too soon on his missed dunk and chucked up an airball, but did manage two assists to pump his season total to five.**9. Rodrick Stewart**: Four rebounds and a steal in eight minutes serve as reminders of how hard this guy hustles. He might be an undersized power forward.**10. Jeremy Case**: Hit a deep one and mixed in a dish on a night that would have been even better if he had converted a layup.**11. Brady Morningstar**: Looks as if he belongs, but still isn’t hitting his three-point shot.**12. Matt Kleinmann**: As Bill Raftery might say, “A free throw and a blocked shot from … the big fella.”**13. Brennan Bechard**: Looked solid in the layup line.**14. Brad Witherspoon**: He shoots. He … doesn’t score. He shoots again. He … doesn’t score.**The Keegan Ratings: Season Standings (total points and average rank)** **1**.
