_After each KU basketball game this season, this is where you can find out the basketball equivalent of The Nielsen Ratings from Journal-World sports editor Tom Keegan. He’ll rate the Jayhawks’ individual performances from top to bottom, telling you who was worth tuning in to watch and who has seen better days. If you agree or maybe even differ, make sure to comment and tell Tom how you really feel._**1. Brandon Rush**: Gets the top spot despite making only two of 10 field goals in the second half, which is an indication of how on-fire he was in the first half and how poorly most of his teammates played. Blocked four shots and had five offensive rebounds on a very active afternoon. **2. Sasha Kaun**: Historically, Kaun plays his best when the other team does not have a center close to his size. That came true again as Kaun was a perfect five-of-five from the field, didn’t panic, caught everything thrown to him and mixed in four blocked shots. **3. Darrell Arthur**: Asked the coach if he could come off the bench instead of starting, mainly because he was tired of watching most of the first half after getting two quick fouls. Interesting thought, but it didn’t quite work out. He entered six minutes into the game, only played six first half minutes and started the second half with, you guessed it, two fouls. Had one blur-of-a-stretch where he blocked a shot at one end, sprinted to the other to score quickly, and sprinted back the other way to pick up a steal. He needs to stay out of foul trouble so that he can play 30 minutes instead of 22. **4. Mario Chalmers**: Started the game strong, driving and dishing, but picked up two quick fouls and played only eight minutes in the first half. **5. Sherron Collins**: Played 19 minutes and had six turnovers, tainting an otherwise energetic performance. His five first half points were a nice boost. **6. Russell Robinson**: Had the ball 12 feet from the hoop on the left baseline and could have done one of two things with it: Toss it to Arthur for a slam or shoot the wide-open jumper. He did neither, passing it back to the perimeter on a possession that ended with Robinson clanking a three-point shot. Made just three-of-seven free throws. **7. Darnell Jackson**: A steady scorer and rebounder, Jackson doesn’t move as well defensively as the other big men and isn’t as quick a leaper. **8. Rodrick Stewart**: Infused the team with energy in nine minutes on the floor. Picked up two rebounds, two assists and a steal. There is nothing not to like about this guy’s attitude. He doesn’t mope about lack of playing time and is ready to hustle when called upon. **9. Julian Wright**: Was such a non-factor he was benched for all but six minutes of the second half. Casual college basketball fans who caught his stupendous performance against Florida could have tuned into the game and wondered where the team’s best player went.**The Keegan Ratings: Season Standings (Average rank)** **1.** Julian Wright 3.00 **2.** Darrell Arthur 3.50 **3.** Mario Chalmers 3.60 **4.** Brandon Rush 4.20 **5.** Russell Robinson 4.80 **6.** Darnell Jackson 4.90 **7.** Sherron Collins 5.40 **8.** Sasha Kaun 6.57 **9.** Rodrick Stewart 8.67 **10.** Brady Morningstar 9.25 **11.** Matt Kleinmann 9.8 **12.** Jeremy Case 10.67 **T- 13.** Brennan Bechard 12.5 **T- 13.** Brad Witherspoon 12.5
