_After each KU basketball game this season, this is where you can find out the basketball equivalent of The Nielsen Ratings from Journal-World sports editor Tom Keegan. He’ll rate the Jayhawks’ individual performances from top to bottom, telling you who was worth tuning in to watch and who has seen better days. If you agree or maybe even differ, make sure to comment and tell Tom how you really feel._**1. Mario Chalmers**: USC committed 25 turnovers and nobody was more responsible for that than Chalmers, who had six steals, a number of deflections and generally was such a pest that USC’s guards melted at the sight of him. **2. Darnell Jackson**: He energized the team by hitting the offensive boards hard, diving for loose balls, and going up strong for buckets. Totaled 11 points and nine rebounds in one of the best efforts of his career. **3. Sherron Collins**: Still a little out of control at times, Collins is emerging at both ends and could be in the starting lineup ahead of Russell Robinson at some point this season. Totaled 11 points, six rebounds, two assists and a steal in 22 minutes. **4. Julian Wright**: Missed some shots he needs to hit, but contributed three blocked shots and three steals while battling some foul trouble. **5. Brandon Rush**: His shooting slump deepened. He has made just 24 percent of his three-point attempts in the past five games. Still, he did a terrific job guarding USC’s leading scorer, Nick Young, who scored eight points, less than half his average. **6. Darrell Arthur**: Huge steal late in the game and is nearly an automatic to score when he gets the ball down low, but it bears repeating that Arthur is too valuable to be spending so much time on the bench in foul trouble. Two of his four fouls were questionable calls. Still, he has to figure out a way to stay on the court. **7. Russell Robinson**: OK, it’s time to be blunt. Three-point shooting is the weakest part of his game and he needs to stop taking those shots. He missed both attempts and for the season is 4-of-18 (22 percent). For his career, he’s a 30 percent three-point shooter. **8. Sasha Kaun**: Paging Pete Newell. Pete Newell, please report to Sasha Kaun’s locker. Paging Pete Newell. Pete Newell… **9. Rodrick Stewart**: The crowd, always on top of the story lines, was primed to go nuts if his lone shot, a three-pointer from the right wing, had gone in. It didn’t. Coach Bill Self chided himself for not getting Stewart back in the game after three first half minutes to play against his twin brother, Lodrick, but the game was too tight to worry about personal considerations.**The Keegan Ratings: Season Standings (Average rank)** **1.** Julian Wright 2.33 **T-2.** Darrell Arthur 3.56 **T-2.** Mario Chalmers 3.56 **4.** Brandon Rush 4.56 **T-5.** Russell Robinson 4.67 **T-5.** Darnell Jackson 4.67 **7.** Sherron Collins 5.44 **8.** Sasha Kaun 7.33 **9.** Rodrick Stewart 8.75 **10.** Brady Morningstar 9.25 **11.** Matt Kleinmann 9.8 **12.** Jeremy Case 10.67 **T- 13.** Brennan Bechard 12.5 **T- 13.** Brad Witherspoon 12.5
