SALT LAKE CITY — Saturday’s matchup between the Kansas football team and No. 12 Utah has been moved earlier in the day due to forecasted inclement weather.

Kickoff for the Jayhawks and Utes at Rice-Eccles Stadium is now set for 7 p.m. Central time, or 6 p.m. local. It was previously going to take place two hours and 25 minutes later.

Broadcast information for the newly rescheduled game has not yet been released. It will stream on the ESPN App, but the exact ESPN network that will air it is not yet clear.

The National Weather Service out of Salt Lake City has warned of significant rainfall from the remnants of Tropical Storm Rachel between Saturday and Monday.

Utah (4-0, 1-0 Big 12) is coming off a bye week after beating Iowa State, while KU (2-2, 0-1 Big 12) shut out Middle Tennessee last Saturday.
