Junior Sera Tadokoro paced the Kansas women’s golf team with a fourth-place finish and led the team to seventh place at the Lady Paladin Invitational in Greenville, S.C.
Tadokoro began the day just how she ended the day before, shooting even and carding three birdies while sitting in first place during the front-nine. Her momentum was halted in the back-nine due to a pair of bogeys, but she finished strong and placed in a tie for fourth, which is her highest finish in a tournament this season.
Sophomore Pear Pooratanaopa continued shooting consistently, carding a score of 2-over par (74) to finish in a tie for 17th. Junior Aristelle Acuff got out of rhythm and shot three double bogeys to finish in 55th place.
Kansas will take a two-week break and return to action Oct. 13-15 at the Palmetto Intercollegiate in Kiawah Island, S.C.
