Kansas women’s tennis team wrapped up play Sunday at the SMU Invitational in Dallas.

Sunday’s action included the last of the singles matches in the morning. It was scheduled for teammates Sonia Smagina and Luniuska Delgado to face each other, but the two did not play the match.

Instead, KU took part in four extra matches to end the invite. The Jayhawks posted three wins out of the four matches played. Smagina added to her win column with a victory over USC, 6-0, 6-2. Delgado locked up with Stephen F. Austin, where she triumphed in straight sets (6-3, 6-1). Carmen Roxana Manu dropped a 6-0, 6-1 decision to K-State while Julia Deming defeated Wichita State in a hard fought 5-7, 6-3, 10-7 match.

KU will compete in the ITA All-Americans in Tulsa, Okla., on Oct. 5-13.
