Kansas track and field alum Mason Finley was named to the USA Track & Field roster for the 2018 North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletics Association Senior Championships. The event will be held Aug. 10-12 at Varsity Stadium in Toronto.
Finley, who was a member of the Jayhawks from 2010-12, will compete in the discus competition at Varsity Stadium for the U.S. The men’s discus competition is scheduled for 12:45 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12.
Earlier this summer, Finley finished second in the discus competition at the USATF Outdoor Championships in Des Moines, Iowa, posting a throw of 67.06 meters (220-0 ft.).
