Kansas’ Janet Koch, who will be a senior this year, had a successful showing at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Summer Circuit final at the Jayhawk Tennis Center Monday.

Koch claimed the singles title and then paired up with Nina Khmelnitckaia to claim the doubles crown.

The Jayhawk duo had to face off against one another on the court for the singles bracket title. In the end, Koch topped teammate Khmelnitckaia 6-4, 6-4, to claim the championship. On the doubles side, the tandem was the top seed in Lawrence over the weekend. Khmelnitckaia and Koch defeated the Nebraska duo of Hayley Haakenstad and Claire Reifeis, 8-0, to take the doubles championship.
