Kansas’ doubles team of Anastasia Rychagova and Maria Toran Ribes won their fifth straight match, and KU’s women’s tennis team blanked Columbia, 4-0, on Saturday in Denton, Texas.
Nina Khmelnitckaia and Tess Bernard-Feigenbaum also won to give the Jayhawks the doubles point.
Rychagova won at No. 1 singles, Khmelnitckaia at No. 4 singles and Toran Ribes at No. 5 singles for KU.
“I thought we competed in a very businesslike fashion,” KU coach Todd Chapman said. “We played with good energy and focus throughout the match.”
The Jayhawks will play North Texas at noon today in Denton.
