Wichita Collegiate High senior quarterback and safety Cody McNerney tweeted Wednesday that he has made a verbal commitment to attend Kansas.
“Happy to say I have accepted an offer from the University of Kansas! Thanks you to all my family, coaches and friends for all the support!” McNerney tweeted, without specifying whether he was offered a scholarship or preferred walk-on spot.
McNerney is the second member of the Wichita Collegiate Class of 2018 to commit to Kansas, joining offensive lineman Mac Copeland.
