Kansas’ Ariadna Fonseca Diaz tied for third place in the Dale McNamara Invitational on Tuesday in Tulsa, Okla., and the Jayhawks tied for fifth in the nine-team tournament.
Diaz shot a three-round total of 9-over 219. Other KU placings: Victoria Chandra (tie for 14th), Xinyun Yu (t20th), Kallie Gonzales (t30th), Pitsinee Winyara (t33rd), Chomchana Phuchanbanchob (t33rd) and Yi-Tsen Chou (37th),
The Jayhawks will compete in the Big 12 tournament April 21-23 in San Antonio.
