Rancho Mirage, Calif. ? Former Kansas women’s golfer Yupaporn “Mook” Kawinpakorn earned a spot on the 2017 Symetra Tour, but failed to qualify for Stage 2 of the LPGA and Symetra Tour Qualifying School after shooting her highest round of the event Sunday on the Dinah Shore Course at the Mission Hills Country Club.
Kawinpakorn shot a 10-over-par, 82 on the final day. She got into trouble early with a pair of double bogeys and three bogeys on the front nine and was never able to recover. Kawinpakorn finished the 72-hole event with a 12-over, 300.
