Kansas University counted two home runs among its five extra-base hits in a 9-3 nonconference baseball victory over Wichita State on Tuesday at Hoglund Ballpark.

Joven Afenir and TJ Martin each had three hits in four at-bats for the Jayhawks (15-20).

Martin and Michael Tinsley homered for KU.

WSU fell to 13-24.
